HPV & Genital Wart Treatment

Doctor-led removal of warts with laser/RF, in complete confidentiality.

You Are Not Alone, and This Is Not Your Fault! We Are Here for You with Discretion and Compassion.

"Am I the only one going through this?", "What happens if someone finds out?", "How will this affect my future and my relationships?"

Many people who have been diagnosed with HPV and genital warts, or who suspect they may have them, ask themselves these questions silently and anxiously. But we want you to know this: HPV is one of the most common viruses in the world, and with the right, timely intervention it is a condition that can be brought fully under control.

At Dr. Ahmet Demir Clinic, we approach this process not merely as a medical procedure, but with an attitude that is humane, non-judgemental, unhurried and 100% protective of your privacy (confidentiality).

What Is Laser/RF Treatment for HPV and Warts, and What Does It Do?

HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) is a very common virus that can cause warts (condylomas) to form on the upper layer of the skin and in the genital/mucosal areas.

Wart Treatment with Laser and Radiofrequency:

  • A procedure in which the wart tissue is precisely targeted down to its root with high-precision laser energy and vaporised (ablation) in a controlled manner.
  • It instantly clears visible wart tissue and breaks the chain of transmission.
  • It is a bloodless, stitch-free and painless method that protects the surrounding healthy tissue and speeds up tissue healing.

Why Do Warts Spread, and Who Is This Treatment Suitable For?

Warts are sometimes small and barely noticeable; at other times they spread and reach a point where they seriously affect a person's state of mind, self-confidence and sex life.

What Happens If Warts Are Left Untreated?

  • They can spread to other areas of the body (groin, anus, legs, etc.).
  • The risk of transmission increases, as does the likelihood of passing them on to your partner.
  • Over time they may grow and multiply, requiring more sessions to treat.

Who Is This Treatment Suitable For?

It is suitable for anyone who has warts in the genital area, groin, hands, feet or anywhere else on the body and who is looking for a stitch-free, scar-free solution with guaranteed privacy.

How Is the Procedure Performed? What Does the Process Involve?

At our clinic, the treatment process is carried out with patient comfort and sensitivity as the top priority:

  1. Private and Confidential Examination: In our examination room, with your privacy fully protected, the number, location and extent of the warts are assessed.
  2. Local Anaesthesia: An effective anaesthetic cream or micro-injection is applied to the treatment area. You will feel no pain whatsoever during the procedure.
  3. Removal with Laser/Radiofrequency: Depending on the size of the wart, the wart tissue is removed together with its root, millimetre by millimetre, using laser/radiofrequency technology.
  4. A Quick Process (15–30 Minutes): The entire procedure is usually completed within 15 to 30 minutes. Because it is bloodless, there is no stress over stitches or dressings; you can return to your social and working life the same day.

What Do We Do? Why Choose Us? (The Dr. Ahmet Demir Clinic Approach)

At our clinic offering HPV and wart treatment in Istanbul, our approach is not simply to burn off the visible wart, but to manage the whole process holistically:

  • 100% Privacy and Confidentiality: All your information and your examination are kept entirely confidential under the principle of medical confidentiality.
  • Root-Targeted Removal: Superficial burning or uncontrolled chemical acids leave the root of the wart behind and lead to recurrence. With the laser/radiofrequency method, we target the root structure of the wart.
  • Holistic Immune Support: HPV is a virus that is kept in check by the body's immune system. We do not just remove the wart; we also provide nutrition, supplement and lifestyle guidance to strengthen your immune system.

Benefits of the Procedure, and Why It Must Be Performed by a Doctor

  • It Is Not Surgery: It does not require cutting with a scalpel, stitches or aggressive surgical interventions that leave scars.
  • Minimal Risk of Scarring: Especially on delicate tissue such as the genital area, the laser/radiofrequency energy is adjusted to the millimetre, minimising the risk of marks and scars.
  • A Doctor Must Perform It: The anatomy of the genital area is extremely delicate in terms of its lymphatic and vascular networks. Incorrect device settings or acids applied carelessly at home can lead to permanent damage, pitting and severe burns. The procedure must always be performed by a doctor.

Let's Plan Your Personal Treatment Together

You do not have to hide, blame yourself or carry this burden alone! HPV is nothing to be ashamed of; it is a medical health issue with a solution.

Frequently asked questions

Is HPV and Wart Treatment Painful?

No. Because the area is completely numbed with local anaesthesia before the procedure, you feel no pain or discomfort during treatment.

Will There Be a Scar After Wart Removal?

Since the laser and radiofrequency methods involve no stitches or incisions, the risk of a permanent scar is minimal. The small scabs that form after the procedure fall off within 7–10 days, revealing fresh skin underneath.

Do HPV Warts Come Back After Treatment?

Whether warts recur depends on the body's immune response to the virus. When the warts are removed down to the root with laser and the immune-boosting protocol recommended by your doctor is followed, the risk of recurrence is significantly reduced. The warts we remove do not come back. However, until the body's immunity has fully developed, new ones, even if small, may appear in other places.

Does HPV End Your Sex Life? When Can I Resume Sexual Activity After Treatment?

Absolutely not! Once treatment is complete and the treated tissue has fully healed (usually 1-2 weeks), you can safely return to a healthy sex life under your doctor's supervision. However, we particularly recommend that a female partner be vaccinated.

Genital Wart / HPV Treatment Prices 2026 – Istanbul: What Determines the Cost?

The price of HPV and wart treatment is determined individually, based on the number of warts (a single one or widespread?), their location (genital, around the anus, hands/feet) and the number of sessions needed.
